MDI is continuing research in collaboration with scientists at the Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory and the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This work is focused on materials in extreme conditions. Work on developing amorphous pharmaceuticals is continuing as we seek commercial partners in advancing the application of acoustic levitation to discovery and processing of pharma materials. Experiments on the International Space Station are being used to measure the viscosity of liquids and help to understand the nature of glass formation and the behavior of supercooled molten materials.
